June 1st, 2010

Forty years ago today – June 1st – The Beatles released ” Sgt’s; Peepers Lonely Hearts Club Band” on us, ,, and I can’t remember a thing since then.
I can remember John getting nicked under the ‘obscene publications act’ ( jumping out of a black cab hand in hand with Cynthia), and arriving at court with some more lithograph’s under one arm, if I remember rightly.
The charge was a nonsense, John made some beautiful lithograph’s of -I think – Yoko Ono (his partner), in the nude.
Public Prosecution’s came down on John Lennon, most likely politic’s were closely aligned to the surviellence of John Lennon & Yoko Ono. I forget the court case details, even the outcome.

What a diabolical liberty, said one of the minders.
